Celebrate Women’s History Month with San Diego’s Women in Photography Our Visual Voice February 9 through March 8, the Luxe Gallery at City College hosts a curated exhibit of 50 of San Diego’s best photographers in Women in Photography: Our Visual Voice, a collaboration with San Diego City College’s Photography Department, Nelson’s Photographic Supplies and Miller’s Professional Imaging. Women are often under-represented in some fields, and photography is no exception, but this exhibit features some beautiful work in a variety of styles by some of San Diego’s most accomplished female photographers, presenting current trends in the industry. Why you need a photographer? Got kids? Gotta have a photographer. Here is why. I grew up in Brazil. I don’t know how things were here in the US over 40 years ago (that sounded old – haha), but back there and then, pictures of little kids were not so common. Luckily I had some pictures taken when I was about 3-4 months by a professional photographer. Of course my mom didn’t have a camera. A very special cake smash session for Penelope
To celebrate baby Penelope’s first birthday, we decided to do a Private Cake Session on location. Right when the wildflowers were at full bloom, we chose a magical location that would show the ocean and the beautiful flowers. What a dreamy Cake Smash Session!
