No doubt about it, when a child sees photos of their mom with them as a child, it can be a meaningful and emotional experience that evokes a range of thoughts and feelings. These photos serve as a tangible reminder of the love, care, and bond between a mother and her child, and they can be cherished memories for both the child and the mother.

No excuses: this is the year you will treat yourself and have a session with the kids.

If you are ready for an amazing Mother’s Day experience, you’ve arrived at the right place. My Mother’s Day Sessions are 15 minutes long – mom and kids only, 7 high resolution files of your choice on only costs $275. Extra photos can be purchased separately.

April 22nd – La Jolla – flowers (not a full field, but some cute patches of yellow and white flowers)

April 29th – Trail (either a trail in Del Mar or Encinitas – I am still deciding) – The good old San Diego trail with bushes and some trees. I am not sure if it will still be green from the rains or back to to the browns.

April 30th – Downtown – Urban – I don’t have the exact location picked for Downtown but there will be lots of concrete, buildings, hopefully a mural or colorful wall…

May 4th – Trail (Harry Griffen in La Mesa) – The good old San Diego trail with bushes and some trees. I am not sure if it will still be green from the rains or back to to the browns.

  • Sessions are 15 minutes long.
  • Appointments will be made every 15 minutes
  • Turnaround is two weeks – before Mother’s Day
  • Spots are only guaranteed with signed contract and payment.
  • There will not be wildflowers minis or beach sessions and and here is why: most fields offer no shade at all and as you probably know, the sun light is very harsh earlier in the afternoon. With no shade, we can only rely on the time of the day when the sun is really low so we get the beautiful, dreamy light of the Golden Hour. Sunrise is another great option for photos in open fields. We want the sun to be close to the horizon so we can take advantage of a flattering light. When the sun is high we get harsh shadows on our faces and bodies, we squint a lot and the saturation is just not realistic. Believe me when I tell you sunset and sunrise are the best times for a great Wildflower Session.
