Celebrating a big milestone for this family: Licia’s Maternity Session.

Licia and Francesco are my friends and I couldn’t be happier when they announced that they were going to welcome their first baby in 2022. Most of my friends are done with having babies, so having a close friend start the maternity journey got me beyond excited. I knew she just had to have the most beautiful portraits of this magical time in their lives. We chose a location in San Diego for her photos I don’t use much. I save it for special occasions and small groups. This place is a little tropical oasis in San Diego and I knew this was the perfect spot for their photos.
That afternoon I felt so honored to be a part of their milestone as a couple. We now wait anxiously for baby Nicholas to join us and have his first official photoshoot when I meet them again for his Newborn Session. Our whole group of friends cannot wait to meet him!
