A Cake Smash Session is a fun way to celebrate and document your baby’s first birthday.

A Cake Smash Session is a must for babies turning one. Whether you are having a party or not, this is a super cute way to document your baby’s 1st year of life in a calm environment without a big crowd that might overwhelm your baby. This session is mostly done at the Studio but some parents prefer to upgrade it into a regular session and do it outdoors.

Booking & Planning

When your baby is about 6 months (another major milestone) is the ideal time to book a Cake Smash Session. I only book a few of them a month, so you want to make sure you get one of my monthly spots.
The cake as well as the decorations are included in the package, so all you need to bring is the baby. I also have plenty of outfits you can borrow so you don’t need to buy anything. My Cake Smash Session at the Studio is for baby only, no parents, siblings or pets are allowed.

Some parents prefer an outdoor session and that can be arranged. However the cake is not included on my outdoor sessions. I can bring a vintage wooden high chair or a quilt and nature is the background. This is also a good alternative for when parents want to be in the photos also. What Cake Smash Session is best for me?

Should I choose a Basic Milestone Session or a Big Bash Milestone Session?
The session is the same! The difference in packages is the amount of photos and products you get in each one. You will get a lot more at a greater discount on my Big Bash Milestone Session, but the Basic Milestone Session is a good option if you are on a budget.
