San Diego Beaches – Family Session
Oh… how I miss just heading over to any of the San Diego beaches for a family session…Going back to post these older sessions are taking me back to such beautiful and fun moments with my beloved clients…Raise your hand if you want to have a session like this when we are free to go to the beach again?

Fresh 48 – Carter
Some of my sessions are time sensitive… Maternity… Newborn… Fresh 48. This time, while we are in quarantine, it hurts me that some families are not going to have those important pictures taken. So heartbreaking…Luckily for Carter’s family, he was born in a time we were free to go anywhere and we took it for granted… Crossing my fingers I will be able to go back to hospitals to document and celebrate the arrival of another baby. BTW: The whole session is shot in color and BW, I just choose to post it all in BW because I just love this photo journalistic look.

Visit San Diego
Besides having my lovely local clients, I love when families visit San Diego and book a session with me. It is such a happy family trip and what best moment to capture big smiles? Aren’t we our best when we are on vacation? This was shot over Thanksgiving weekend in 2018, and it was their second year in a row visiting San Diego and booking a session with me. Windansea was particularly gorgeous that day, with green moss everywhere, low tide and an unforgettable sunset. How lucky were we all?

Downtown San Diego
I have a little soft spot for Downtown San Diego… When I first moved to San Diego that is what I called home. I lived on 2nd Street and I’ve been in love ever since. So many cool backdrops and colors. Great lines and light. And mind you: Downtown is even nicer today compared to almost 20 years ago. I was thrilled when this sweet family picked Downtown San Diego for the family photos.

A family session at the beach
I love family sessions at the beach, specially when we find one that has more than just sand-cliffs-water.This is the perfect little spot for the best of both worlds: beach and greens.
