Expecting baby #1
I feel so bad for all the expecting moms right now who cannot get their maternity photos taken during these stay at home orders… Try to at least get your husband to get some shots of you to document your belly’s growth. Wear something fitted, that will show the shape of your belly, look for good, even light – not direct, harsh sun, and go for simple: areas in the house with no clutter and simple lines so the attention can go to you. Some close up of the belly, but also some pull back shots would be great. Be mindful of the angles: don’t shoot too low or too…

Valentine’s Day – Grown Ups
Every year my Valentine’s Day Minis for kids are a huge hit, but lately I’ve been trying to push more couples sessions because… I know we NEED these photos. We need our kids to have memories of us as couples. This was my first real attempt in 2019 and I simply love doing these sessions. I will share more soon.

Gorgeous Maternity Session – San Diego
It is hard to believe that this is San Diego. The drive was long but so worth it. Our initial plan was to go to the beach but in a turn of events we stayed in the country side and I just love, love, love this side of San Diego I am not really familiar with. I wouldn’t have traded this session to any other location. Gorgeous Claudia, expecting her second baby.

16 day old Madelyn
16 Day old newborn Madelyn rocked her newborn session just like her big brother Grayson did a few years prior. The competition was strong and I am glad to say that they tied in cuteness and cooperation. I can’t believe this session took place a little over a year ago and this sweet baby is already one!!!BTW That photo with her feet hanging over the bed is one of my all time favorite! Isn’t it adorable?

A grand family reunion!
I usually don’t photograph big family reunions, specially on January 1st, but this was a special request from a very sweet client of mine and I couldn’t say no. Her husband’s family was visiting from all over the place for the Holidays and that was the only day that would work. And we made it work. The main focus was grandparents with all the grandchildren and then individual families. It was a cold, but gorgeous day in South Ponto and I just loved seeing them so happy. It was definitely a good opening for the new year for me.
